Why VendorRadar
A note from the founder
Why was VendorRadar built?
Years of working as a partner manager at some of the world's largest technology vendors made one thing clear: VARs and MSPs spend hours each week chasing the same scattered information. MDF percentages buried three clicks deep in a partner portal. Tier requirements that quietly shifted between quarters. Deal registration windows that changed without anyone noticing until a deal got rejected. Co-sell programs launching with announcements that never made it past the regional newsletter.
Different partners. Same problem. Information that should be a competitive advantage was instead a tax on their time.
VendorRadar exists to flip that. We monitor the vendors so partners don't have to. The hours you used to spend hunting for what changed go back into selling, supporting customers, and growing your business.
Who is behind VendorRadar?
VendorRadar is built by someone who has been on both the vendor and partner side of the table — at major IT vendors and the world's largest IT services partners. The product reflects what partners deserved to have access to: a single, current source of truth for partner program changes, with context on what it means for their margin and pipeline.
This is intentionally a focused product. We don't try to be a CRM, a PSA, or a quoting tool. We do one thing: track vendor partner programs and surface what changed. If you've ever opened five vendor portals on a Monday morning to check what's new, this is for you.
Why subscription pricing?
Partner programs change constantly. Maintaining accurate, current data on 70+ vendors weekly takes real work — AI-driven monitoring, editorial review, and continuous data validation. A subscription model lets us keep the data fresh, the platform evolving, and the focus on what partners actually need rather than chasing one-off enterprise contracts.
Help & answers
FrequentlyAskedQuestions
Everything you need to know about VendorRadar — pricing, data sources, plan features, and account management.
About VendorRadar
Is VendorRadar a PRM tool?
No. PRM tools like Impartner, Allbound, and Channeltivity help vendors manage their partner network. VendorRadar is the opposite. We help partners (VARs and MSPs) track, compare, and stay ahead of the vendors they work with. If you're a vendor manager at a partner organization, this is built for you.
What is VendorRadar?
VendorRadar is a B2B SaaS platform that monitors IT vendor partner programs for VARs and MSPs. We track MDF percentages, deal-registration windows, tier requirements, and co-sell programs across 70+ IT vendors so partner managers don't have to chase scattered PDFs and partner-portal updates.
Who is VendorRadar for?
VARs (value-added resellers), MSPs (managed service providers), and channel-leadership teams who carry multiple vendor partnerships. If you've ever asked "did Cisco change their MDF percentage last quarter?" or "what's the deal-reg window on Fortinet right now?", VendorRadar is the answer.
Where does the data come from?
We scrape vendor partner-portal pages weekly and curate the changes through an AI enrichment layer that summarises what each program update means for partner economics. Every change is reviewed before it lands on your dashboard. Vendor names, logos, and program data are drawn from publicly available sources — VendorRadar is independent and not affiliated with the vendors we cover.
What if my vendor isn't tracked yet?
We currently track 70+ of the most-used vendors across the IT channel. If you need a vendor that's not in our catalog, you can request it from the Request a vendor button on the Vendors catalog. Each request is reviewed by the VendorRadar team and prioritized based on demand across our user base. Most approved vendors are added within a few weeks. You'll be notified once your requested vendor is live.
Plans and pricing
What's the difference between Free, Pro, and Team?
Free: Track up to 3 vendors, in-app changelog access for those vendors, and 1 AI Vendor Match query per month. No email alerts. No credit card required.
Pro: Unlimited vendor tracking, weekly email digest, full changelog history, partner-impact analysis on every change, 50 AI Vendor Match queries per month, side-by-side comparison, and PDF export.
Team: Everything in Pro, plus 200 AI Vendor Match queries per month and 5 seats so your whole channel team shares one subscription. Extra seats can be added from the billing portal.
For current pricing and the EUR / USD toggle, see the pricing page.
Does the Free plan include email alerts?
No. Free users have full in-app access to the changelog and can browse program updates from the dashboard for the 3 vendors they watch. Email alerts are a Pro and Team feature — upgrade to receive a weekly digest in your inbox without checking the app.
How does billing work?
Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. Yearly saves about two months over monthly. For Team plans, extra seats are prorated for the rest of the current billing period when you add them — no double-charging on partial months.
Which currency am I charged in?
We auto-detect your country based on your IP address. Visitors from EU/EEA countries and Switzerland are billed in EUR. All other visitors (including the UK, US, and rest of world) are billed in USD. You can switch the displayed currency on the pricing page using the EUR / USD toggle — your billing currency is set at checkout and follows whichever currency was active when you subscribed.
Features and product
How does the watchlist work?
Star any vendor on the catalog page to add them to your watchlist. Free is capped at 3 vendors; Pro and Team are unlimited. Your watchlist drives your weekly email digest, the dashboard "Updates for your vendors" feed, and which vendors trigger an alert when their program changes.
What is AI Vendor Match?
Tell us what you're trying to solve ("endpoint security for a 50-seat law firm", "hyperscaler partnership for a UK MSP focused on public sector") and our AI ranks the top 3 vendor partner programs that fit. It explains the match in terms of MDF, deal-reg, co-sell, region coverage, and tier requirements — not just generic vendor descriptions. Free gets 1 query per month, Pro gets 50 queries per month, Team gets 200 per month.
Why are there query limits on Vendor Match?
AI processing has real-time costs. Limits keep pricing predictable for everyone and prevent abuse. Most users use 5-15 queries per month.
What happens when I hit my Vendor Match limit?
You can upgrade your plan immediately or wait until the first of next month for your limit to reset.
Can I buy extra Vendor Match queries?
Not yet. If you frequently hit your limit, upgrading to Team tier is the most cost-effective option.
What's different on the Team plan?
Team adds shared visibility: every teammate sees what the others are tracking via a "Tracked by your team" strip on the catalog, and the team admin sees a coverage matrix of vendors × members on /team. Owners can promote members to admins (admins can invite + revoke; only owners can change billing). Includes 5 seats baseline, and extra seats can be added or removed anytime from the Stripe billing portal.
How do email alerts work?
Pro and Team subscribers receive a weekly email digest every Monday with all changes for the vendors in their watchlist. The digest only fires when something actually changed, so a quiet week means no email. You can pause alerts or filter by change type on the /alerts page.
Free users see changes in the in-app changelog at /changelogs (scoped to their 3 watched vendors) but do not receive email alerts.
Privacy and security
What data do you store about me?
Your account email, the vendors you watch, your alert preferences, and (for Team owners) your company name. No payment data is stored in our database — Stripe handles all of that. See our privacy policy for the full breakdown.
How is my data protected?
We take security seriously. See our Security page for details on data handling, encryption, and compliance.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. From /profile click "Delete account". You'll get a verification email; click the link within 24 hours and every row of personal data is removed. Billing records are retained for 7 years as required by Dutch and EU tax law.
Where is my data hosted?
Inside the EU. The application database and authentication run on Supabase's EU region; transactional email runs on Brevo (Paris, France); workflow automation runs on n8n Cloud (Germany). Only Vercel (web hosting) and Anthropic (AI features) are US-based, and both transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. See our Privacy Policy for the full processor list.
Are you GDPR compliant?
Yes. We operate under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch Implementation Act (Uitvoeringswet AVG). Every third-party processor we use is bound by a written data-processing agreement. We respect the full set of GDPR rights — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and complaint — and respond to requests within 30 days. The Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Dutch DPA) is our supervisory authority.
Do you offer a Data Processing Agreement (DPA)?
Yes. A standard DPA template is available on request for Pro and Team customers who need one for their own GDPR compliance. Reach out via our contact page and we'll send it across.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. All traffic between your browser and our servers runs over TLS, and data at rest in our Supabase database is encrypted on disk. Access boundaries inside the database are enforced by row-level security policies, so no customer can read another customer's data even if a query bypassed the application layer.
